A rich mixture of organic apricots, blackstrap molasses and red wine, enhanced with six iron rich herbs to provide a delicious and nutritious source of iron. Though prescription supplements will have a higher iron content, this traditional blend is a concentrated source of food-based iron which is generally more easily absorbed, rich in many other minerals and active constituents, and specifically formulated to gently and naturally avoid unpleasant side effects of iron supplementation such as constipation and griping.
Shake well before use. Take one tablepoon spoon 1-2 times per day. Take on an empty stomach and 2hrs away from coffee, black tea and other tannin rich foods which reduce iron absorption.
Keep in a cool dark place. Once opened store in the fridge and consume within 1 month.
Iron absorption is increased further by vitamin C, so feel free to have an orange too.

This iron tonic is safe and well tolerated in pregnancy from the second trimester onwards (iron supplementation is generally not recommended in the first trimester).
