Sencha is a type of Japanese ryokucha ( green tea) which is prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. It is the most popular tea in Japan.
The best way to experience this tea is to put the required amount (your call) in a pot and add about 30 ml of cold water. When the kettle has boiled leave it for half a minute or so and then pour into the pot. If you pour boiling water straight onto the leaves it can bring out a slightly bitter taste, if you use the method suggested you get a much smoother drink.
